Tv2Mt – TradingView to MetaTrader 4/5 Auto Trading

Tv2Mt is 4x Engineer’s service that places trades in MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 from TradingView alerts. Each user gets a private webhook URL for TradingView, and the Tv2Mt EA on the user’s MT4/MT5 account opens and closes trades with the lot, stop-loss and take-profit settings sent in the alert.

  • MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5
  • Private TradingView webhook
  • Partial take profit in the EA

Who it is for

Who uses Tv2Mt to automate TradingView alerts

Tv2Mt is for traders who use TradingView strategies, indicators or Pine Script alerts and trade on MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5.

  • TradingView strategy traders

Send the alerts of your TradingView strategy to your MT4/MT5 account. With “As per signal” the side comes from the strategy’s signal.

  • Indicator alert users

Turn the alerts of the TradingView indicators you use into trades on your MetaTrader account.

  • Pine Script alert users

Connect the alerts of your Pine Script to MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 through your private webhook URL.

How it works

How TradingView to MT4/MT5 works with Tv2Mt

Five steps from a TradingView alert to a trade in MetaTrader.

  1. Subscribe to a Tv2Mt plan

Choose a 1, 3, 6 or 12-month plan. Your subscription has a start date and an end date.

  2. Create your webhook and add your MT account

In the 4x Engineer user panel, create your private TradingView webhook URL and enter your MT4/MT5 account number.

  3. Build the alert message and set up the alert

Build the alert message with the TV Message tool, then paste the webhook URL and the message into your TradingView alert.

  4. Attach the Tv2Mt EA in MT4/MT5

Download the EA from the user panel, attach it on your MT4/MT5 account and enable “Allow DLL imports”. No URL has to be added to MetaTrader’s WebRequest list.

  5. Trades are placed from your alerts

The Tv2Mt EA reads your alerts from the 4x Engineer server and places the trades. Track your alerts and trades in the panel.

Features

Tv2Mt features: TradingView webhook to MetaTrader

Every Tv2Mt plan includes all of these features.

  • Private webhook you can change

Each user gets a private TradingView webhook URL in the user panel. Create it and change it at any time; after a change the old URL stops working and the new URL must be updated in your TradingView alerts.

  • TradingView to MT4 and MT5

Tv2Mt places trades in MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 from your TradingView alerts.

  • One MetaTrader account per subscription

Enter your MT4/MT5 account number in the user panel and change it there when you need to.

  • Alert message builder

The TV Message tool in the user panel builds the JSON message to paste into your TradingView alert.

  • Buy/sell, entry/exit and reverse signal

Set the side (Buy, Sell or “As per signal”), Entry or Exit, and Reverse signal in the alert.

  • Lot types

Fix lot, Auto lot, Risk percent, or Martingale with Multiply or Increase logic and its lot, multiplier or increase values.

  • SL, TP and trade settings in the alert

Stop loss and take profit in points, max slippage, max spread, magic number and trade comment.

  • Partial take profit: 3 + final

Up to 3 partial take-profits plus a final take-profit, set in the EA inputs. Each partial TP has an on/off switch, a close quantity in % and a distance in points.

  • Account dashboard

See your MetaTrader account name, balance, today’s, weekly and monthly profit, and account currency in the user panel.

  • Trade history

The user panel shows the history of your TradingView alerts and trades.

  • Subscription dates

Each subscription has a start date and an end date, shown in the panel. Outside these dates alerts are rejected and the EA receives no trades.

Alert message

What you can control from a TradingView alert

Each Tv2Mt alert message carries these settings for the trade. The TV Message tool in the user panel builds the message for you.

Settings a Tv2Mt TradingView alert message can control
Setting What it does
Side Buy or Sell, or “As per signal” to take the side from the alert’s signal.
Entry/Exit Whether the alert opens a trade (Entry) or closes it (Exit).
Reverse signal True or False. True reverses the side of the signal.
Magic number The magic number of the trade in MetaTrader.
Max slippage The largest slippage accepted for the trade, in points.
Max spread The largest spread accepted for the trade, in points.
Lot type Fix lot, Auto lot, Risk percent, or Martingale with Multiply or Increase logic and its lot, multiplier or increase values.
Stop loss The stop loss of the trade, in points.
Take profit The take profit of the trade, in points.
Trade comment The comment saved with the trade in MetaTrader.

Partial take profit

Partial take profit in the Tv2Mt EA

The Tv2Mt EA has up to 3 partial take-profits plus 1 final take-profit, 4 in total. They are EA inputs: you set them in the EA, not in the alert.

  • On/off switch for each partial take-profit, so you can use only some of them.
  • Close quantity in % of the trade’s lot.
  • Distance in points.

Example

With a 1.00 lot trade and partial TP 1 set to 25% at 500 points, 0.25 lot is closed when price moves 500 points.

FAQ

Tv2Mt: frequently asked questions

What is Tv2Mt?

Tv2Mt is a 4x Engineer service that places trades in MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 from TradingView alerts. Each user gets a private TradingView webhook URL in the user panel, and the Tv2Mt EA on the user's MT4/MT5 account places the trades from those alerts.

How do TradingView alerts reach my MetaTrader account?

Your TradingView alert sends its message to your private webhook URL on the 4x Engineer server. The Tv2Mt EA runs on your MT4/MT5 account, reads your alerts from the 4x Engineer server and places the trades.

Does Tv2Mt work with MT4 and MT5?

Yes. Tv2Mt works with both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.

Which TradingView plan do I need?

TradingView webhook alerts require a paid TradingView plan: Essential or higher. Tv2Mt receives your alerts through the webhook.

What do I need to set in MetaTrader?

Enable "Allow DLL imports" in MetaTrader. The server address is built into the Tv2Mt EA through a DLL, so no URL has to be added to MetaTrader's WebRequest list.

How many MetaTrader accounts can I use?

One MetaTrader account per subscription. Enter your MT4/MT5 account number in the user panel; you can change it there.

What can I control from the alert message?

The Buy/Sell side (or "As per signal"), Entry/Exit, Reverse signal, Magic number, Max slippage, Max spread, Lot type (Fix lot, Auto lot, Risk percent, or Martingale with Multiply or Increase logic and its lot, multiplier or increase values), Stop loss and Take profit in points, and the Trade comment. The TV Message tool in the user panel builds the message.

Does Tv2Mt support partial take profit?

Yes. The Tv2Mt EA has up to 3 partial take-profits plus 1 final take-profit, set in the EA inputs, not in the alert. Each partial take-profit has an on/off switch, a close quantity in % and a distance in points, so you can use only some of them. Example: With a 1.00 lot trade and partial TP 1 set to 25% at 500 points, 0.25 lot is closed when price moves 500 points.

Can I change my webhook URL?

Yes. You can create your webhook URL in the user panel and change it at any time. After a change the old URL stops working, and the new URL must be updated in your TradingView alerts.

What happens when my subscription ends?

Each subscription has a start date and an end date. Outside these dates your alerts are rejected and the Tv2Mt EA receives no trades.

What data does the Tv2Mt EA send to the 4x Engineer server?

The Tv2Mt EA sends the account number, account name, balance, today's profit, weekly profit, monthly profit and the account currency.
